How to Install a Radiant Floor?

Here are some important steps you need to follow when you want to install or replace your radiant or heated floor

Step 1: These steps can be referred to as Site Preparation. At this stage, the ground must be well-prepared so as to circulate well without restrictions when installation is done. This step also involves ensuring that the surface is level, and the surface is clean as well.
Step 2: After site preparation, this stage involves laying and fixing pipes. And then, install supports to hold the network of pipes and guide the location for optimal heat distribution. Test the whole assembly and adjust where necessary.
Step 3: When you are done with the installation, go ahead and connect the pipes to the gas or propane boiler system or electric system. This will heat up the water or glycol in the network of pipes. Then, it’s time to do a performance test. Test the whole assembly and see if there are any leaks, faulty connections, breakage, etc.
